These engines output 385, 430, and 475 horsepower respectively, and deliver 430, 475, and 1,050 pound-feet of torque each. Depending on which F-250 you choose, your truck will have either the TorqShift®heavy-duty 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift or the 6-speed variant.
The Ford F-250 is meant to deliver on Jobsite usefulness, without sacrificing standard city drivability. This year’s model does that better than ever, offering the new 6.7L Power Stroke® diesel V8 in the Super Duty’s High-strength fully boxed steel frame, that delivers industry-topping power in a form factor that can still fit in the parking spaces of your favorite coffee shop. Towing capacity has increased resulting from the new Powertrain upgrades, with conventional trailer weights on the 6.2L V8 maxing out at 20,000 pounds. The Tremor package also includes skid-plates and a rock-crawl mode. A bevy of Driver-Assist options hit the F-250 this year, with features like Automatic High-beams becoming standard on all models, and Lane-Keeping Alert becoming standard on the XLT packages and above.
The 2020 Ford F-250 is available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited variants. The F-250 XL is a great standard package that offers competitive towing and horsepower specs. With this package, you have access to the 6.2L engine and its 6-speed transmission. The XLT package offers a high level of value, however, offering access to the beefier engine that nets a sizable increase in horsepower and torque. The XLT has slightly better access to other features in the F-250 lineup, like Pre-Collision Assist and Remote Keyless Entry. The XLT has access to every bed and cab configuration, which includes Regular Cab, SuperCab, and CrewCab variants upfront, and options for either a 6.8 or 8.2-footbed in the back. Lariat models are the first step up into luxury features, offering an 8-inch productivity screen and B&O™ Premium Sound System. Options continue to increase until you reach the F-250 King Ranch Variant, which includes many of the interior features offered by the other packages, with the addition of features like a remote start system, Unique King Ranch® Kingsville Antique effect leather bucket seating, and Accent-Color front and rear bumpers.
