The base Active comes with a 24-inch instrument panel, a 13.2-inch touchscreen, Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver assistance, and a new Ford Digital Experience system. The MAX models offer the same features as standard-sized trims. They also have up to 11.8 inches of extra length and an additional 37.4 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row.
The Platinum has 360-degree exterior zone lighting that you can control from your smartphone. The optional Platinum Ultimate Package comes with 24-inch wheels, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and Mojave Dusk or Salt Crystal Gray interior colors. The 2025 Expedition has updated headlights and a new grille design. A new Ford Split Gate resembles a tailgate, and you can change it into a seating area or table when needed. It can support up to 500 pounds when opened.
Instead of offering entry-level XL and XLT trims, the 2025 model has the Active trim level. The Platinum trim replaces the Limited, and it comes with a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, 20-inch wheels, and power-adjustable pedals with memory settings.
An updated, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine gives 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The TREMOR replaces the Timberline trim. It has standard four-wheel drive, front skid plates and running boards, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a more powerful V-6 that provides 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
